Dominican Monastery of La Tourette
by Le Corbusier (Eveux France)
An immersive report in an architectural work produced with an alpa photographic camera
" In parallel with my orders, I experiment an architectural photography in search of the atmosphere of the place, a metaphor architecture of the human condition. These images of the ‘Convent of the Tourette d’Éveux’ that we find in the series ‘Snow Day’ have for me this emotional charge where spaces become calm, muffled, almost monochrome poetry."
Take Time for Photography
" The choice of shooting equipment involves a slow and deliberate process, taking a step back and imposing a discipline of perception. It means moving away from the daily rush to embrace slowness and deliberation. It is in this perspective that I find the freedom to compose thoughtful images that enrich our understanding of constructed space."
