A house designed as a garden pavilion which is located in the heart of a wooded property marked by the heritage character of the buildings and trees of the surrounding area. Located at the edge of the plot, it takes the shape of an “L” organized around a central space facing South and West where the entire program benefits from abundant light.
Attentive to the enhancement and preservation of the existing, the house is built with a prefabricated system composed of a metal frame extended by a long structural steel frame which functions both as an awning and frees the facade from posts while bringing its uniqueness to the project.
The project was developed in a spirit of simplicity and precision, from the architecture to the furniture. This approach results in a timeless design where the limited use of materials and the integration of equipment essential to the well-being of the user are the subject of specific care.
The ceiling and floor notably incorporate a hydraulic radiant thermal regulation system adapted to the structure of the project, which disappears in favor of space to preserve the serene atmosphere of the house. The technical systems chosen respect the characteristics of an RT2015, BBC building.
